This review is about the island Escape room I did back in May.
It was really disappointing.
I have done many rooms at Breakout and they are generally good but some need to be updated. The Island Escape is a disgrace. It is not to the standards rooms are made now. Some things didn't work or were triggered at the wrong moment. It shows its age. It's dirty and the decor is not well made. The puzzles are not very original anymore. No storytelling. Only one room.
I'm sure the new rooms like Monopoly or Kidnapping 2 are great but it's time to retire the dated rooms. You are charged the same for a new room with all the new bells and whistles or an old tired one. The experience is not the same and not worth that price point.
I think it shows a disregard for the clients because Breakout Games know they are providing a subpar experience.
No issue with the game master who was great.

By far the best escape room experience we've ever had! Our group came by on a Saturday afternoon and Riley was amazing! We will definitely be coming back soon!

Second time my nephew and I have done a room there, and it was so fun! Our game master Jamie was really kind, fun, and helpful! We almost lost oxygen in our submarine, but we made it! We also saved the Mona Lisa last time. We're excited to try the Clue room! There are a lot of great options, and it's really easy to book online. It was very fun!

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing one of the best escape rooms ever, and I can't recommend it highly enough! From start to finish, the experience was exhilarating and engaging.

Our host, Seth, was exceptional. From the moment we arrived, he made us feel welcome and set the tone for an exciting adventure. His enthusiasm and knowledge were infectious, and he did an incredible job explaining the rules and setting the scene without giving anything away.

The room itself was brilliantly designed, with challenging puzzles that were both clever and fun. Each clue led us deeper into the story, and the level of detail in the room was impressive. It was clear that a lot of thought and creativity went into every aspect.

What stood out the most was Seth's attentiveness. He monitored our progress and provided hints just when we needed them, ensuring that we stayed on track without feeling frustrated. His timing and hints were perfect, allowing us to solve the puzzles and escape just in time.

Overall, it was an unforgettable experience, thanks to the fantastic setup and Seth's outstanding hosting. If you're looking for a thrilling and immersive escape room adventure, this is the place to go. Five stars all the way!

Had an great experience with six crazy 11 yr olds in the Escape Room II. First time for all of us, I admit it was challenging for the boys, but River our GM was very patient and gave the boys hints when they needed & asked. Hope we will have a chance to try again.

Tessa was our game master and she was wonderful! Hints were useful but not too easy so we still had to figure it out. We did the clue escape room! The props were cool! I liked the various ways to use the props and some of the technology involved.

just had a great birthday party with my friend in the kidnapping 2. our gm, sid, was so cool and fun. they were the best gm we could ask for, very helpful and kind <3. I was scared in the beginning cause we took so long during the lights out part but we ended up escaping in a little over 45 min. highly recommend <3

Loved this place! It was fun for both my friend and me and our three children. We found that the more brains the better! We unfortunately didn't solve the mystery, but the kids are still talking about how much fun they had! We highly recommend for a fun family night or date night with friends.
